飛抵赫拉特，和朋友Bashir共度最後在阿富汗的美好時光。

第一次前往邊境，本來以來一切順利，結果在最後一關被擋下來。殊不知這個邊境也不曉得自己政府的簽證政策，說了老半天還是不讓我在邊境付錢走人。

從赫拉特Jada Walayat路右轉前往The Minarets的路上，就有前往邊境Islam Qala的計程車，單程一人250Afghani。

全程大概一個半小時，冬季如遇雪則有可能長達三個小時。計程車會到邊境前停下，接下來的路程就是用走的。

路邊都會有幫忙載貨的推車，不過行李不多，所以沒有雇用。

沿途有第一關，檢查有沒有自殺炸彈；接下來有兩關是檢查護照和行李，都是簡單檢查。

抵達海關處，需要拍照(電腦攝影機)以及兩手指紋，若一切OK，海關會蓋出境章。

出海關後還有一關會檢查護照、簽證和出境章，接下來就會抵達伊朗邊境。

阿富汗側邊境冬季下午兩點就下班，所以要通過邊境的人一定要提早在這個時間點前抵達，否則只能在邊境小鎮過夜。

抵達伊朗邊境，首先會看到一棟比較像樣的海關建築。

進入後第一關是防疫局的相關單位，看護照並問你是否有任何疾病，確認無礙以後會放一張紙夾在護照裡。

第二關檢查護照簽證並蓋入境章，這關就會把剛剛防疫局的紙回收。

第三關是登錄資料，並會問你入境目的。

第四關行李過X光機。

以上，海關全部都不會說英文，所以笑笑點頭，聽得懂的答有，聽不懂就說Farsi na mafonmi(我不懂Farsi)。

出海關建築後，約兩百公尺步行就會抵達伊朗側邊境，這裡有許多的計程車，會載你到邊境外的小鎮，轉乘計程車或巴士前往馬什哈德。

邊境沒有兌換貨幣的地方，請在赫拉特就先換好土曼(Tuman)。

10Rial(正式貨幣名稱)=1Tuman(在地人用的名稱)，所以任何人說價格後，請自動在後面補上一個零，就是手上的貨幣。

邊境到小鎮 = 計程車約12500Rial。

小鎮到馬什哈德 = 計程車約125000Rial。

從伊朗入境阿富汗的程序就是倒著走，在伊朗海關是先檢查行李後才蓋離境章。

In Herat,there are taxies on the road to the Minarets,just turn right from Jada Walayat Rd. and 100 meters far.

Cost around 250 - 300AFN and directly to the border,and it's 1.5 - 2 hrs.If snowing,it could be 3 hrs.

When arriving border,you could hire handcarts to carry the bags for you.

The first check point is checking for suicide bombs so they're gonna touch your body.If you've already traveled in AF,this is nothing to you.

The second and third one is checking bags and passport.

Next,you'll see the custom.Don't worry,the customer who sits in the office could speak English.You'll be asked to show passport,take a photo from cam,and press your finger prints on the scanner.Here you'll get the Exit Stamp.

There's another one check point outside of the exit of the building.They'll check every single visa on your passport.

About 200 meters away,it's the custom of Iran.

The first office is Health Inspection."Are you feeling well?" is the only question they'll ask.After that,they'll put a slip of paper in your passport.

The second is where you could obtain Extrance stamp.Here they'll take the slip of paper away.

The third is gonna check passport and asking about the purposes.If you don't really know Farsi,just say "Farsi na mefonmi.",which means I don't understand Farsi.

The fourth is luggage-checking,no big deal.

After all this,you're officially in Iran.

200 meters away from the building,there are taxies you could take.But they only take you to the town where are taxies and buses to Mashhad.

At the border,there's no one exchanging currencies.You should prepare some while in Herat.

10Rial(The official name of currency) = 1 Tuman(The name often used by locals)

Taxi from border to town = 12500Rial.

Taxi from town to Mashhad = 125000Rial.

From Iran to Afghanistan is the backward.First check luggage then the passport.
